In this project, I present research into the 10 Year Breakeven Inflation Rate and Oil Price fluctuations, combining time series techniques such as Bollinger Bands, Exponential Smoothing, and Rolling Correlation to build descriptive and predictive models that deepen understanding of modern monetary policies that span from 2018 to 2026.
It’s my hope that this information is able to help you form more of an educated understanding on the history of recent economic events. Rather than simply expounding on my own opinions, I have aimed to provide an independent interpretation that is supported by analysis and reliable, neutral sources.
